My approach to therapy draws upon a spectrum of theoretical backgrounds – Attachment, Humanistic/Existential, Solution-Focused, Cognitive Behavioral, Psychodynamic and Family Systems. I have diverse work experience and a wide variety of clients, leading to a broad focus for treatment.

With respect to adult counseling services, I specialize in treating Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Life Adjustments (divorce, unemployment, death of a loved one, etc.), Trauma, Addictions and Bipolar Disorder. My practice also involves couples counseling and family therapy, where I create understanding of the underlying dynamics that drive conflict and how these can be approached in ways that are more productive and that strengthen relationships. I have extensive training in working with adolescents, with a specific focus on treating ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Divorce Adjustment, Academic Difficulties, Grief and Depression.

Although my practice is broad, my focus is always on the individual – doing what works, increasing your understanding of self, and strengthening your ability to deal more effectively with others.

If you're looking for help, contact me today for a no obligation consultation or schedule an appointment. I look forward to hearing from you!

Prior to our first session, please verify that your insurance plan will cover our visit by contacting them directly at the number listed on the back of your insurance card. Make sure to ask about your deductible, copayment and if pre-authorization is needed.

Even if your insurance is not listed, most insurance companies will pay for “out of network” providers. To find out if you can access this benefit, call your insurance company and ask them if they have an out-of-network provision. Make sure to ask about your deductible and your copayment. If you have a deductible, it means you will pay out-of-pocket before your insurance starts covering.
